Abstract

RESUMEN: La Terapia Ocupacional se vale de diferentes técnicas para darle al niño un desarrollo acorde a su etapa de vida, teniendo como principal preocupación la función de Miembros Superiores, coordinación, Inhibición de patrones, entre otros; sin embargo muchas veces busca integrar al niño a la familia y a la sociedad sin antes haber enfatizado en la importancia de crear terapias que involucren en la Socialización que debería ser tratada como un punto preponderante teniendo en cuenta su edad, ya que la primera infancia es el periodo en el que tiene lugar el proceso de socialización más intenso, cuando el ser humano es más apto para aprender y este es el proceso mediante el cual el individuo adopta los elementos socioculturales de su medio ambiente y los integrará a su personalidad para adaptarse a la sociedad. La investigación se llevó a cabo con 12 pacientes de 3 a 5 años de edad cronológica, con Diagnóstico de Parálisis Cerebral que asistieron al Centro de Rehabilitación Integral de Oriente (CRIOR) en el periodo comprendido de Septiembre a Noviembre del año 2007.En los objetivos específicos se describe la formación del sistema nervioso central, el desarrollo psicomotor normal del niño, la parálisis cerebral, causas y discapacidad; la programación de actividades y orientación de padres de familia sobre la importancia de la terapia ocupacional en el área de socialización en niños/as con diagnóstico de parálisis cerebral. El tipo de Investigación que se utilizó el retrospectivo y prospectivo, con un muestreo no probabilístico intencionado y las técnicas de Obtención de Información fueron las documentales bibliográficas y escritas; las de Campo en ésta la hoja de evaluación, guía de observación y guía de entrevista. Habiendo finalizado la investigación el grupo concluyó que Al aplicar las actividades de socialización en el tratamiento de terapia ocupacional en los niños/as de 3 a 5 años con diagnóstico de Parálisis Cerebral, se comprobó una muy buena evolución tanto social como emocionalmente, ya que se observó y verificó que la aplicación de dichas actividades hicieron que el niño/a responsable se involucraron en las terapias participando activamente. Además, se demostró que los niños/as con mayor compromiso motriz, visual, auditivo, necesitan asistencia para ser incorporados a las diferentes actividades sociales. ABSTRACT: The Occupational Therapy uses different techniques to give the child a development according to his stage of life, having as main concern the function of Superior Members, coordination, Inhibition of patterns, among others; however, it often seeks to integrate the child into the family and society without having emphasized the importance of creating therapies that involve socialization that should be treated as a predominant point taking into account his or her age, since early childhood is the period in which the most intense socialization process takes place, when the human being is more apt to learn and this is the process by which the individual adopts the socio-cultural elements of his environment and integrates them into his personality to adapt in the society. The research was carried out with 12 patients from 3 to 5 years of age, with Diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy who attended the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center of Oriente (CRIOR) in the period from September to November 2007.The specific objectives describe the formation of the central nervous system, the normal psychomotor development of the child, cerebral palsy, causes and disability; the programming of activities and guidance of parents on the importance of occupational therapy in the area of socialization in children/as diagnosed with cerebral paralysis. The type of Research that was used retrospective and prospective, with an intentional non-probabilistic sampling and the techniques of Obtaining Information were the bibliographic and written documentaries; those of Field in this the evaluation sheet, observation guide and interview guide. Having finished the research the group concluded that When applying the socialization activities in the treatment of occupational therapy in children from 3 to 5 years with diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, a very good evolution was verified both socially and emotionally, since it was observed and verified that the application of these activities made the child responsible involved in the therapies participating actively. In addition, it was shown that children with greater motor, visual and auditory commitment need assistance to be incorporated into the different social activities.
