Abstract

El turismo a nivel mundial ha sido reconocido desde hace muchas décadas como una fuente de ingreso para los países y en El Salvador experimenta un crecimiento progresivo en los últimos años generando bienestar económico y social para el país, porque dinamiza la economía, genera empleo, reducción de la delincuencia y más involucramiento de la población. La población aledaña a la laguna de Apastepeque, se han involucrado en el desarrollo turístico de la zona durante los últimos años, dinamizando la economía de los restaurantes que han crecido adquiriendo lanchas y motos acuáticas, que indirectamente beneficia a los restaurantes, por lo llamativo de los deportes acuáticos que muchos turistas desean disfrutar, la población realiza estos deportes en ciertas temporadas del año como: agosto y diciembre. La investigación se titula “Impacto de la pandemia COVID-19 en el desarrollo turístico de los restaurantes de la laguna de los municipios de Apastepeque y Santa Clara, departamento de San Vicente, año 2020”. Con esta investigación se pretende orientar a los microempresarios de los restaurantes para lograr superar la crisis que enfrentar debido a la pandemia que se vive actualmente en el país, tomando en consideración las medidas sanitarias decretas por las autoridades de gobierno, encaminadas a salvaguardar la vida de los seres humanos en general, y la elaboración de un plan estratégico que facilite la gestión administrativa de los restaurantes para solventar las problemáticas o incumplimientos en los procesos de la actividad turística. Primero se plantea la problemática de donde surge la necesidad de llevar a cabo la investigación, identificada a través de diagnóstico, tomando en cuenta los factores de incidencia en el desarrollo de los restaurantes de la laguna de Apastepeque y describiendo teóricamente la situación actual que enfrentar en el desarrollo de la actividad turística en la localidad. Luego se presenta la base teórica referente al turismo delimitado a nivel mundial, regional y nacional que fundamenta el propósito de estudio de la investigación, así como también la información relacionada con la pandemia COVID-19 a nivel internacional y nacional especificando la evolución que ésta experimenta. Por último, se presenta la metodología del trabajo donde se describieron las técnicas de investigación y la forma de procesamiento y presentación de la información que se recolectó, habiendo aplicado un enfoque cuantitativo-cualitativo. Se utilizaron variables de cantidad y calidad, se utilizó la forma descriptiva puesto que se especificaron los factores involucrados con el impacto de la pandemia COVID-19 en los restaurantes de la laguna de Apastepeque. Tourism worldwide has been recognized for many decades as a source of income for countries and in El Salvador it has experienced progressive growth in recent years, generating economic and social well-being for the country, because it boosts the economy, generates employment, reduces crime and more involvement of the population. The population surrounding the Apastepeque lagoon, have been involved in the tourist development of the area in recent years, boosting the economy of restaurants that have grown by acquiring boats and jet skis, which indirectly benefits restaurants, due to the attractiveness of water sports that many tourists want to enjoy, the population performs these sports in certain seasons of the year such as: August and December. The research is titled "Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism development of the lagoon restaurants of the municipalities of Apastepeque and Santa Clara, department of San Vicente, year 2020." The aim of this research is to guide restaurant micro-entrepreneurs to overcome the crisis they are facing due to the pandemic currently being experienced in the country, taking into account the health measures decreed by government authorities, aimed at safeguarding the lives of human beings in general, and the development of a strategic plan that facilitates the administrative management of restaurants to solve problems or non-compliance in the processes of tourist activity. First, the problem arises from which the need to carry out the research arises, identified through diagnosis, taking into account the factors of incidence in the development of the restaurants of the Apastepeque lagoon and theoretically describing the current situation to face in the development of tourist activity in the town. Then the theoretical basis regarding tourism delimited at the global, regional and national levels is presented, which bases the study purpose of the research, as well as the information related to the COVID-19 pandemic at the international and national level, specifying the evolution that it experiences. . Finally, the work methodology is presented where the research techniques and the way of processing and presenting the information that was collected were described, having applied a quantitative-qualitative approach. Quantity and quality variables were used, the descriptive form was used since the factors involved with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the restaurants of the Apastepeque lagoon were specified.
