Abstract
The educational reform in El Salvador, from 1962 to thepresent, states that the reason to incluide the teaching of english in the curriculumof the country from the seventh tothe twelfth grade, is to produce a typeof citizenwith and open mind toward the flow of culture through the centralamericanisthus and the american continent.
