Abstract

RESUMEN: El trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo determinar los efectos de la COVID-19 en la salud mental del personal de salud en el primer nivel de atención del sistema de salud salvadoreño de las Unidades de Salud Meanguera, Tecapán y San Alejo, durante periodo de marzo 2020-septiembre 2021. Considerando que el coronavirus corresponde a un virus ARN encapsulado monocatenario positivos que se ubican dentro de la familia Coronaviridae, síndrome respiratorio de Oriente Medio y síndrome respiratorio agudo grave (SARS). Metodología. La investigación cualitativa se tomó una población de 103 personas que laboran en las unidades de Salud Meanguera, Tecapán , San Alejo, de las cuales 80 cumplían con los criterios de inclusión, los datos se obtuvieron mediante entrevista estructurada realizada de forma virtual; los resultados acerca de los factores que influyen sobre la salud mental del personal del primer nivel de atención incluye el manejo de pacientes covid-19 positivos, su traslado en estado crítico que aumenta la exposición y carga viral, entre otros aspectos, de esta forma se han creado situaciones ante el desempeño de cada persona dentro del trabajo Conclusiones: de las unidades de salud estudiadas se obtuvieron un total de 31 personas participantes para la Unida de salud Tecapan formada por dos unidades comunitarias, en la unidad de salud intermedia Meanguera obtuvieron un total de 37 personas encuestadas formada por dos unidades comunitarias, y San Alejo un total de 35 personas formado por tres ecos, de los cuales se obtuvo un total de 54 femeninas y 49 masculinos , entre un rango de edad entre 20 y 30 años la mayoría y el menor porcentaje mayores de 50 años, obteniendo así que de los anteriores solo el 38% considera que durante la pandemia se presentaron un aumento de las alteraciones en la salud mental de la población estudiada. ABSTRACT: The objective of the research work is to determine the effects of COVID-19 on the mental health of health personnel in the first level of care of the Salvadoran health system of the Meanguera, Tecapán and San Alejo Health Units, during the period of March 2020-September 2021. Considering that the coronavirus corresponds to a positive single-stranded encapsulated RNA virus that is located within the Coronaviridae family, Middle East respiratory syndrome and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Methodology. The qualitative research took a population of 103 people who work in the Meanguera, Tecapán, San Alejo Health units, of which 80 met the inclusion criteria, the data was obtained through a structured interview conducted virtually; The results about the factors that influence the mental health of the first level of care personnel include the management of covid-19 positive patients, their transfer in critical condition that increases exposure and viral load, among other aspects, in this way it is possible to have created situations in the face of the performance of each person within the work Conclusions: from the health units studied, a total of 31 participants were obtained for the Tecapan Health Unit formed by two community units, in the Meanguera intermediate health unit they obtained a total of 37 people surveyed made up of two community units, and San Alejo a total of 35 people made up of three echoes, of which a total of 54 female and 49 male were obtained, between an age range between 20 and 30 years the majority and the lowest percentage over 50 years of age, thus obtaining that of the above only 38% consider that during the pandemic there was an increase in changes in the mental health of the population studied
